Richard has over 30 years experience in the property industry, having qualified in 1983 by sitting the RICS exams externally after studying by correspondence course.
He began his career with Bernard Thorpe & Partners in Leeds, moving to head ABI Properties after 15 years in private practice.
He joined Caddick Developments in 1993 with responsibility for new developments with particular emphasis on town centre redevelopment.
A keen sportsman, Richard counts skiing, sailing, mountain biking, golf, horse riding and shooting among his pursuits, while home interests include cooking and looking after Tetley the Labrador (named after the beer and not the tea!).
